i.TV Blog: Netflix on i.TV–100k DVDs now for rent via the iPhone

  • Robert MacEwan · 1 year ago
I read the title as 100k DVDs now for viewing on the iPhone. Obviously this second cup of coffee isn't going to cut it.

Your team is doing a fantastic job. Will there be a way to search *only* for movies on Netflix that are available for the instant queue? I can stream those movies to my television, the capability to search and find movies available for instant queue would be priceless (as of now, my testing with your update appears to indicate that there is no way to limit the search to instant movies only).

Just FYI, there's already Mac support for Netflix - they released that a couple weeks ago.

    Hi

Netflix has announced full mac support by the end of the year. We are aware that it is available on a very limited basis and we appreciate your feedback.

PLEASE add support for Blockbuster Online! I am a proud Total Access customer and don't plan on switching to Netflix. I would love the capabilities available via this app to Netflix customers to alter my Blockbuster queue. Thanks in advance.

I notice in this blog post that you say you can add TV shoes and movies from Netflix's instant library into your Instant Queue via i.TV? How do you do this? The only option I see when searching for movies is that it adds them to your DVD/Blu-Ray queue. Am I missing something?

    THANKS!
  • mediamyway · 1 year ago
Chris--Go to My Media > Netflix Queue and then notice at the top there are two toggle buttons. One says "Disc" the other "Instant". Tap on instant and you SHOULD see your Instant viewing titles there. Let us know if this isn't the case by writing our support team. Here's the link: http://i.tv/support/

    Thanks for writing!

I am trying to decide between netflix or blockbuster online for movie rentals by mail. Please tell me reasons why or why not one is better than the other. The only prices i have seen are blockbuster total access 3 movies at a time is $25 a month compared to netflix $18 a month 3 movies at a time. Do both places have movies available the tuesday they come out?
